Vancouver's Sun Yat Sen Garden is modelled after the classical gardens created in China during the Ming Dynasty. The Ming Dynasty ruled China from 1368 to 1644. Fifty-two workers from China spent one year building Vancouver's Sun Yat Sen Garden. It was completed in 1986.
